WHO WE ARE
Vetceterra Solutions Inc.
Created in 2016 by the CEO, a small animal Canadian veterinarian, Vetceterra Solutions (VS) is now exporting in 30 countries and provides a dignified ending to over 700 000 animals a year. Still a young and agile company with innovative ideas, VS now has the means to have great ambitions to put our vision in action.
Vision
A dignified end of life for family pets, experienced by veterinarians, practice staff and pet parents as a compassionate and loving moment, true to the unique bond between the animal, the family and the health professionals.
Mission
To improve the euthanasia experience for all involved by providing a purposeful body bag that makes veterinary teams feel better about how beloved pets are handled after passing.
Team
Vetceterra’s team is a mosaic of exceptional professionals with outstanding skills and a big heart. Our strong values based on integrity, respect, equality and ecology. These values guide our team choices every day. A healthy and respectful work environment is a priority. Balance in life and work is facilitated by flexible working hours and adapted collaborative tools. Our team is composed of women except for our sales star Alejandro, originally from Latin America. It is also diverse, with 3 members coming from other countries than Canada.
OUR TEAM
CÉLINE LEHEURTEUX, DMV, CEO and Founder
Production and Business development
Active in small animal practice since 1999, Céline Leheurteux is interested in the psychological aspect of veterinary practice with the purpose of optimizing relationships both within the care team and with clients.
Through the years, she has developed a personalized approach to euthanasia, a defining medical act, one that has a huge impact both for the client and the veterinarian, and for which practitioners are not prepared well for during their University curriculum. Having suffered from the lack of training in euthanasia, she is committed to share her knowledge and clinical experience with veterinary teams to improve the experience of euthanasia for everyone involved in the process. In the last 5 years, she has attended international veterinary conferences and is on a mission to share the best of what she has learned in lectures on end-of-life and communication and in the clinic on the Practical Classes in Small animal Euthanasia RACE approved CE platform .
As she could not find anything on the market, it appeared inevitable to design a pet body bag that would respect the bond between the vet team, the pet and the family. Ecology is a core value that guided her choices in the design of EUTHABAG; she spent years researching and developing a leakproof pouch made from recyclable material that could be incinerated without doing harm to the environment. PVC although easy to waterproof was not an option because of its toxicity and the inability to integrate recycled material. In addition, the ink used for silkscreen printing is water-based.
Concerned by animal and people welfare she participated in spay and neuter clinics in Costa Rica since she graduated. Celine is a mother of 3 that loves to ride ponies when she can leave the office!
ALEJANDRO ROFFO, DVM, MBA

He is particularly interested in developing strong long-term relationships and is focused on customer service.
He participated in the successful launch of several veterinary products such as Vetoryl, Clavaseptin and Otizole. His vast experience as a representative allowed him to understand the challenges of veterinary teams and how to help them provide animal owners with the best customer experience possible.
He is involved in the community by raising funds for the MIRA Foundation, the DMV Foundation, the Community Veterinary Outreach, the British Columbia and Alberta Guide Dogs and Make a Wish in the Atlantic provinces, among others. Alejandro, like the rest of the team, has a little boy to whom he passed on his passion for soccer!

SUNDAY COZZI, DVM
Sales
Nearly half of Dr. Sunday Cozzi’s 25-year career has been focused on end of life care for furry family members. After spending 10 + years providing in-home hospice and euthanasia, she has spent enough time sitting on the floor (in bedrooms, kitchens and even bathrooms!) with grieving families to understand their needs and desires. Her conviction that plastic bags are for trash and should never be used for deceased pets led her to EUTHABAG. She is delighted to be part of a team that is focused on elevating the end of life experience for everyone involved and committed to promoting social causes and protecting the environment.
Sunday currently lives in South Carolina with her husband and a goofy rescue dog. Two cats allow them to share their home. A recent empty nester, she enjoys good food, travel, exercise, laughing as often as possible, spending time with friends and (fun fact!) plays fantasy football (won her league in 2022!).
MYRIAM DORÉ
Administration and Customer Service
Since childhood, Myriam has developed a deep love for animals, the outdoors and the environment. With a degree in nature and animal health, she has immersed herself in her passions by working for almost 20 years in a veterinary emergency center. Passionate about the unique bond between owners and their animals, she always finds great satisfaction in customer service, where her commitment and attention to detail make all the difference.
In search of new challenges, she joined the EUTHABAG team in May 2024, where she can continue to combine her passion for animals and her commitment to the environment in a stimulating context.
Discovering new horizons is also a great source of joy for her, especially through outdoor and long-distance hiking trips. She loves exploring less classic destinations, her last trip being to Kyrgyzstan. She enjoys trying new sports and adventures with her dog Coco Ninja in her free time.
